The Oregon Women’s History Consortium offers two annual fellowships: a Junior and a Senior Fellowship, of $1,000 each to support scholarship that will lead to a significant contribution in the field of Oregon women’s history. Undergraduate and graduate students and recent graduates should apply to the junior fellowship. Academic and independent historians and scholars should apply to the senior fellowship. Preference will be given to research projects that demonstrate the potential for new analysis in the field, new scholars in the field, projects that have strong, organized, and realistic goals, and projects that reveal the applicant’s ability to complete the research and writing components in accordance with the fellowship deadlines. The successful applicants will conduct the research and will contribute a research essay outlining major findings of the project with evidence from research sources and key conclusions that will be posted to this site.
